Solid VR stand â great value and quality
Five stars from me. I love this stand. It has been just what I needed to keep my VR headset and controllers organized and safe. The build quality feels really good. It is made of wood and feels sturdy, not cheap or wobbly. The elevated edge design helps hold the headset in place so it doesn’t slide off easily.Installation was super simple. Just three screws and everything came together fast. It looks clean and polished once assembled.Size works well for my setup. It fits my Meta Quest 2, 3rd party strap, and controllers without anything crammed or hanging off. I even have headphones hanging on there as well. The base is heavy enough to stay in place and does not tip over.Value is solid. For what it costs, youâre getting something that looks nice, holds everything you need, and feels like it will last. Cable clips are a nice bonus for keeping cords tidy.Overall it works well and does exactly what I hoped. Great little upgrade for my quest.

Not Very Good For The Meta Quest 2
This came packaged and protected quite well and it did, at least, come with some form of directions. However, I find it very annoying when, in those directions, companies don’t bother to show the assembled product in actual use. And, especially when it comes to how the Meta Quest 2, in particular, is supposed to sit on this, it’s not exactly obvious. While they have multiple pictures showing how it’s supposed to sit on the actual Amazon listing, one of my pet peeves when assembling a product is having to go back on Amazon, look up the product in order to refer to a picture that they could have, and should have, simply included in the instructions I’m holding in my hand to begin with.On top of that, while it’s very easy to figure out how this is supposed to go together, what isn’t so simple, is the physical act of lining up the screws with the holes, especially on that tray part that attaches to the vertical piece, and then screw them in without missing the hole in the tray and, in the process, ruining the finish of the tray.I have included a picture where I did exactly that, and you can see the screw showing through where I missed the mark, despite believing that I had lined up the screws and the holes perfectly once I started screwing it together. Even after having made that mistake and being as careful as I could be not to do it again, I continued, time after time, to miss the actual hole, until after about the 7th attempt, I was able to get it right. But, fortunately, it only left a very small, almost imperceptible gouge that is fully hidden once the headset is sitting on it. But just be forewarned, that part is a bit tricker than it ought to be.But, as frustrating as that was, that’s not my biggest gripe with this stand. My problem with it is it’s clearly not designed with the Meta Quest 2 in mind. Although you can technically get the headset and both controllers to fit, the controllers can’t go anywhere but the back of the unit, behind that vertical post, which makes them very awkward to place on it, as well as difficult to grasp. And, as you should be able to see in my one close-up photo of the controller, it can only be placed in that specific orientation and still be on the platform. Even a slight turn an inch or so either way and it’s hanging off the edge. Additionally the two controllers are sort of crowded together on this. It’s just not well-designed. I can’t speak for the Meta Quest 3, but it’s not a good stand for the Meta Quest 2.Also, and this is just my personal taste, but I don’t find this stand aesthetically appealing at all. The bare wood looks incongruous to me as a holder for high tech equipment and almost has the look of someone’s high school wood shop project — a very well articulated one, I’ll grant you — but still has that sort of home-made, DIY, look in my opinion.Lastly, the price is much too high for what it is. Keep in mind, this is just a holder. There are stands out there for the Meta Quest 2 & 3 that will charge not only your headset, but your controllers as well (if you have the rechargeable type) all while looking modern and futuristic with dazzling light displays in keeping with what you’d expect to see for a high tech Virtual Reality generation device — most of which are considerably less expensive than this stand is.If this is your taste, you own a Meta Quest 3, you don’t care if it’s not a charger, and you have money to burn, then go for it. But, as I said, it’s not a good fit for the Meta Quest 2, is quite expensive, and not attractive in my opinion.Bottom line, yes, it will hold your Meta Quest, even if it’s a Meta Quest 2, albeit awkwardly, but I believe there are better options out there.

Nice storage rack for Oculus
We were looking for a way to store my son’s Oculus which was convenient and easy to get to when he wanted to use it. This stand is well made and very simple to assemble. I think it took me less than 5 minute to build once I had it out of the packaging. It’s made of real wood and has a total of 3 screws and 3 pieces to assemble. Once built it’s very sturdy and holds the head gear and 2 controller. It even comes will a few little rubber cable keepers you can stick on where needed. Also had rubber feet on the bottom so it won’t slide off a glass shelf. We are very happy with this storage unit.
