Tapo Smart Deadbolt Door Lock
I ordered 2 of the Tapo DL Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt Door Locks to replace my regular dead bolt locks.. The locks are great quality, heavy duty and work well. They were easy to install. It is very easy to program codes. They work perfectly with the app. You can program them to automatically lock after a certain amount of time. I like the feature that allows you to use a power bank if the batteries fail. They come with 2 keys and everything to install them, except for a screwdriver. They look good installed. They are a good value. I am glad I bought them. I do recommend them.

The installation was a breeze. Its sleek and pretty user-friendly smart lock with exceptional value.I had a chance to install it today.. The Installation was a breeze, everything lined up perfectly with my standard door, and the clear instructions made setup fast without frustration. The metal keypad feels sturdy and premium, while the interior unit is lightweight plastic,. It has pretty decent features for the price tag: keyless entry, app control, auto-lock, and even voice assistant integration. It also weatherproofing and has BHMA Grade 3 certificationFor the features and build quality, itâs an excellent deal.

Good lock, easy to set up and install. Minimal small parts. Wifi is not too hard to setup. Works good and alerts you when it’s open or closed. I don’t know how long the battery will last, but ok so far. Hard to see the lock indicator, it’s all black. May need to put a spot of paint on the inside knob.

Great door lock. Easy to follow instructions for install. After install programing was a simple process. Tapo app makes entire setup easy. Some of the best features are multiple user codes, the ability to unlock and lock through the app, ability to check status of lock in the app, automatic timed locking of the deadbolt (user can select time delay amount), instant lock with the push of a button, ability to lock manually and audible tone if you activate to let you know lock has been engaged. Comes with keys to open and lock as well. Tapo products have served us well and this appears to be of the same high standards. Highly recommend this deadbolt lock.

I wish this lock was smart
This is not in any way a smart lock. It has ways to manually lock and unlock the door remotely, but there is nothing smart about it. There are no useful automations available in the Tapo app or Google Home integrations to automate the locking (or unlocking) of the door. You can configure it in Google Home to auto-lock, but it fails no matter what. It has a very limited Timer feature that will just re-lock the door up to 15 minutes after I unlock it. I tried using that, and it’s pretty useless as I think the door is unlocked after I just left that door and I get a very stiff door in response to going back inside. Tapo support was unable to provide any fixes to address this gap after two attempts (chat and phone). I am glad this was easy to install, as it will be easy to uninstall and return.

Perfect smart lock.
So excited this came out. We wanted a keypad lock that was smart but not too smart. All the really expensive ones seem to have some issue or another.The physical buttons are awesome and donât pick up fingerprints like the touchpad ones do. The lock feels really solid and good quality, especially for the price. Install was super easy and the instructions were great. App connected super fast and weâve been up and running. Iâve always loved tp-link WiFi routers and have been really impressed with the smart home products so far. We have one of their smart power strips as well.

Installation facile et fonctionne très bien, l’unité extérieure semble solide et s’intègre bien avec une bonne finition estéthique. Par contre l’unité intérieure est un peu moins esthétique du fait de sa grosseur due au boitier de logement de piles AA plutôt qu’une batterie, il semble aussi moins robuste. Pour un prix abordable c’est un système efficace et de bonne qualité quand même. Pour le fonctionnement pas besoin de concentrateur, juste l’application Tapo avec laquelle on peut effectuer plusieurs paramètrages intérressants suivant les besoins.
