Review of Torras Crystal Clear iPhone XR Case 6.1 inch with red metallic-finish edgeBecause the new iPhone XR in red is so beautiful, I wanted to protect it without hiding it, so I bought this case with the red metallic edge. I was worried it might be of poor quality—not at all!First, although I paid for regular shipping, expecting it to arrive in 10 days, I was shocked and pleased to receive it in three (perhaps there’s a fulfillment center nearby)!Keep in mind that the iPhone XR is glass front and back, so one needs protection at least from scratches. This case is compatible with wireless charging (although I don’t have such a charger, so I can’t say how well that works). It is indeed absolutely crystal clear and just flexible enough to be fit easily but closely onto the XR. I’ve had it a couple of weeks now, and there is no yellowing or clouding whatsoever. I already had a screen protector on the phone. For protection, the case has raised edges around the camera & flash, and the protective edge is raised just enough around the screen to afford a bit of protection. The case is very precisely cut out, with smooth edges, around the charging port, speakers, and the mute switch for the phone ringer. There are raised/molded covers over the on/off and volume buttons on each side, and they work perfectly.I’m puzzled by previous reviews saying this cover doesn’t fit snugly or that the back of the case is patterned or textured; perhaps those buyers received the wrong case, because mine has no texture or pattern. If it fit any tighter, it would be difficult to put on or take off.Only two negatives that I can see: there are no “grippy” areas, and this case does not have “military grade” drop protection. I am impressed with the quality and fine finishes of this case, especially for just under $12. If you’re not a cautious phone owner and tend to drop it or toss it around, this may not be the case for you. If you want sleek, beautiful protection for your XR that lets the beauty of the phone show through, try this case. I’m very happy with mine.

Fabulous Case; It Can Yellow Over Time BUT . . . (See review!)
I love the fit and feel and look of this crystal clear case on my iPhone SE2020. It doesn’t add significantly to the weight or heft of the phone — it’s VERY slimline, yet provides good protection including for the bezel. I particularly like the fact that this case is not at all slippery yet at the same time it does not have an overly high friction coefficient that prevents it from being easily removed from a pocket — the case exhibits the perfect balance between the two attributes. The back is also pretty scratch-resistant, and the inside of the case has a sort of microdot texture that does not negatively affect clarity yet prevents the smooth back of the phone from adhering to the case and creating those annoying humidity blotches that a slick interior surface will cause. Pretty cool technology.The case also fits tightly on the phone so that dust and debris doesn’t get inside, so cleaning the case is an infrequent necessity. Despite this the phone is still easily removable from the case when necessary.THE DOWNSIDE: Although the case arrives crystal clear and claims to be non-yellowing, the fact of the matter is, as others have noted, is that the case material does yellow over time — see photo comparing my previous case to the brand new one. I began to notice it after about 9 months and after a bit over a year I decided to replace the case. However, know that I am a bit OCD about aesthetics and since one can’t really discern the yellowing except around the edges of the case when ambient light shines through (back of case still appears crystal clear) many folk may not find the yellowing issue to be a deal-breaker.Nonetheless, as indicated above, despite the yellowing I like the case well enough to replace it with the same make and model. I do intend to contact the manufacturer to see if this is an issue that is covered by their lifetime warranty, however.UPDATE: I did contact the manufacturer about the yellowing and they advised that this can happen through contact with body oils, sunlight, chemicals – of course, many of these things would be expected exposures for a phone case, but regardless the manufacturer sent a replacement case instantly via priority mail, with no questions asked, even though I had neglected to register the case for the warranty when I first purchased it. They even offered to replace it with a different style or color case if I was nervous about the clear. So since I had already purchased a new clear case I opted to try the Red Crystal Clear version, red trim with clear back, which is beautiful with my Product Red phone – a lovely metallic sheen to the red trim, so it’s a real beauty. Can’t say enough good things about the responsive and speedy customer service.

I like everything about this case. It’s slim, it seems to protect well (I’ll come back and comment if it doesn’t in the future) and it’s easy to put on and take off. There are no gaps around it. It seems quite durable.
