Impressive, but not carbon fiber
Arriving in an impressive box one of the first things you might say is wow! However that same packaging is misleading because itâs not carbon fiber, however it has the look & performance. This is actually black Kevlar fiber with rubberized coatingâ¦so itâs technically wrong. It has the same feel as many German cars with soft surface coatings. I wouldnât get this if protection beyond normal wear & tear your intent. This case is very thin with very little (if any) cushion. This is primarily for appearance & weight. I absolutely love the integrated camera ring made of aluminum that doubles as a stand; itâs very stealthy & gives more protection for the camera lenses. while it worked with my aftermarket camera lens protector the fit was ok. The case also has magsafe and works well. Itâs a steeper price, however itâs got the tech factor too. Only negative for me is the use of the carbon fiber moniker. Technically it has carbon elements & fiber too, but itâs a stretch. I give this four stars because itâs still amazing, but lacks utility in protection, and itâs on the pricier side.
