Perfect floss, even with my host of dental issues
I have a lot of dental issues. I build up tartar / plaque extremely quickly. I have tight teeth, including two spots with sharp edges that break floss even at the dentist’s office. I have an implant that traps food under it. I have receding gums. I have sensitive teeth, including a front crown that’s historically been painful to floss around. I’ve also had problems recently with stain accumulating between my teeth. So, for obvious reasons, I was hesitant to switch away from the floss I’d used for years, Glide. However, for environmental reasons, I decided to give this zero-waste, plastic-free floss a try. I’m very glad I did.This floss is better in every way. It’s about the same thickness as Glide, but it’s a little less waxy (though it’s definitely not unwaxed). As a result, it does a great job of taking off both the tartar and the stains. It’s comfortable between my tight teeth, even in the sensitive areas (much more so than Glide), and it almost never breaks or frays on the sharp edges where Glide broke literally every time. It cleans better in the looser spaces, too, such as under my implant. I usually had to floss 5-6 times in that area with Glide, and even then it sometimes missed things. With this floss, I only have to clean that area once or twice. On top of all that, it’s gentler on my gums. I really don’t know why, and I was skeptical of that claim when I saw it in other reviews, but somehow it is.As some other reviewers have mentioned, I find myself excited to floss now. I’ve been flossing for many years, but it was always a chore that I needed to complete, despite the mild pain and frustration it caused. Now, it’s a pleasant experience that leaves my mouth feeling cleaner and healthier.On the environmental side, I love that there’s no plastic anywhere in this. I feel good about that every time I look at the pretty container. I keep forgetting that it’s compostable, so I keep tossing it in the trash and then digging it out again, but I’m sure I’ll eventually adjust to that. Overall, this floss is perfect, and I’m now a lifelong convert!

My new favorite dental floss
I wanted to start using a non-plastic, eco-friendly dental floss. (I floss my teeth twice a day. )I ordered this bamboo charcoal floss, not knowing what to expect. Would it be slick and bulky like the floss-tape I’ve been buying at Costco? Would it be so thin and fragile that it would break between my teeth, like some floss I’ve used before? After a couple weeks of use, I’m happy to say that this is probably the best dental floss I’ve ever used. It’s sturdy, strong, and has just a tiny hint of the slight abrasiveness I like to help me clear the tartar from between my teeth. I’ll be using this floss for the long haul.

Absolutely LOVE this floss!
I tend to get a lot of plaque between my teeth. Because this floss is black & plaque is white, I can see just how much plaque it’s removing. It’s very sturdy & it’s very easy to get it between my teeth. I’ve used other flosses that I have a hard time getting in between my teeth. I’ve also used flosses that were hard to grip because they’re so heavily waxed. That’s not a problem with this brand.I bought the stainless steel container because I figured it’d be easy to clean. It is. And the hole in the top that the floss comes through is wide enough that it’s not at all difficult to thread the floss through it.I LOVE that the floss itself is biodegradable & vegan & contains no plastic, the container is reusable, & there’s no plastic anywhere in the packaging. Anything we can do to reduce the amount of plastic we use is a good thing.Recently I bought refills of the peppermint flavored floss & love it even more than the unflavored floss that came with the container. I plan to be a lifetime customer of this brand.

Eco-friendly floss – works GREAT on my tight teeth!
Great Product! I have very tight teeth so finding a non-polyester floss has been a challenge. I have found this floss to be durable and easy to use on my teeth. If I use a bit of lateral sliding motion, to slide the floss between your teeth, this floss works very well. I can floss all my teeth with a single strand with no breaking. It tastes pretty good too!I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging (no plastic at all). While no floss is without some environmental impact (see the high temperatures required to create Bamboo charcoal), I find this product to be the best to reduce my environmental impact while keeping my teeth and gums healthy

Container cap sealed very tight
Love the product. But the floss snapped at the top of the container and I needed to take the cap off to pull it through and I have literally tried everything to get the cap off. It is on so tight that I canât open it.

Strong biodegradable floss that is a consistent size and does not contain any plastic
I was looking for a non plastic based floss. I tried this one, as well as a silk type. The silk one was variable, meaning one time it was nearly too tight and other times it was fine. This floss comes with a stainless steel, as opposed to a glass, dispenser, which I like. It also has an extra roll of floss. I just got it recently, but so far, it has a consistent size that works well fitting between my teeth. Also, it has not broken which is a plus too. This will probably be my go to floss from now on.

Best dental floss I have ever used!
I am an everyday flosser and after learning that most over-the-counter dental floss is plastic (except the non-slide version) I was on the hunt for a safer product. It glides through my teeth without issue and cleans between the teeth as wanted. The container is very stylish, works great, and I am able to travel with it everywhere. Recommended.

Itâs compact, easy to carry anywhere, and unlike glass containers Iâve used before (which have broken more than once), this metal case is durable and reliable.The floss itself has the perfect texture to clean my teeth efficiently, far better than any other floss Iâve tried.
