I haven’t read thru this yet, but I know Nicks Heart for the “abused”!
I bought this for our Grandson, who has been bullyed at school, etc. It’s SO Tough these days with all the “online portals”, cell phones, texting, etc. that can negatively affect the lives and attitudes of kids in a heartbeat! Talk about Ganging Up! Group Texts are lethal! They make it seem like the “whole world” is against them! Nick’s Testimony is compelling and I’m confident it will lift our Grandson’s spirit and attitude, especially toward himself and his relationship with and through Christ!

God has a much better plan for our life than we can imagine
I read this book as a parent and as a teacher. “Stand Strong” contains excellent tips for the young people on how to build their self-esteem and inspires them how not to make the mistakes Nick did as a kid. Readers can learn from his mistakes but also from his victories, which are enormous and numerous. I liked the part where he talked about his bad habit of swearing and how he overcame it. I believe Nick is an excellent role model for the young especially that his values are strong and he practices what he preaches. God has a much better plan for our life than we can imagine- he says and that’s why Nick tells his readers to always believe in the better future ahead of them, even in the hardest times. I recommend this book to all teens and their parents.

Nick has a powerful message for young people: don’t give up! If anyone had a reason to give up, it was Nick. He knows what it is like to be bullied and knows he is a clear example of someone facing a life that seemed to be hopeless. Yet, he was able to find a way past despair to strength and joy. Nick is very religious/spiritual and talks about the strength he has found through his faith, and whether you believe as he does or not, there is a lot of wisdom in this book that can apply to any one, young or old, who feels picked on. Buy the book, watch his videos on YouTube and find new hope.

Anything by Nick is hugely inspirational! Gave this for Christmas to my grandsons, who have had to endure bullying at school. Just not that many books written FOR the young teen on this topic! And who better than Nick to encourage kids who get picked on! I thank the Lord for Nick and speaking through him to be such an encouragement. This would be a great book for a parent and their kids at any grade level to go through together!
